The Fujinon 10x50 FMTR-SX-2 has an exit pupil of 5 mm which is very effective for the average user. This is true because a normal Eye can use the full 50 mm objective lens diameter during night time observation, whereas greater Objective lenses and a resulting greater exit pupil might not be supported by the observer's eye, so that there would be no additional advantage. All around a very nice piece of equipment!
